Low-Impact, High-Reward Fitness

Aquatic fitness classes at Prairie Lakes Wellness Center offer a joint-friendly way to build strength, improve flexibility, and boost cardiovascular health. 

Perfect for all fitness levels, our instructor-led classes combine the resistance of water with energizing workouts to help you stay active and feel your best. No swimming experience required. Learn more about the different aquatic fitness classes below.

  1. Aqua Cardio Barre Mix
  2. Deep Water Fitness
  3. Shallow Aqua Fitness
  4. Aqua  Kick & Burn

This low-impact workout will strengthen and elongate muscles through small isolated movements, repetitive weights and sections of quick cardio to boost your heart rate. Some moves will be brand new while others are a twist on familiar exercises. All workouts are followed by a much need deep stretch. You’ll be challenged while working against the water’s resistance. This class is suitable for all physical levels.

    • 8:00am - 9:00am
  • Offered one Saturday a month. Date posted on pool marker board and weekend Aerobic Schedule.

Aquatic Fitness Class Fees

Water exercise classes are included in Fitness Plus Membership. If you have a Basic Fitness Membership, you may upgrade or pay an additional $20 a month for unlimited classes.
